Privacy policy

P2P Connect, powered by PEN2PRO™, lets you make a digital business card and share it with a link or QR code. This policy covers the website at connect.p2pebookempire.com and the P2P Connect apps for iPhone and Android.

What we collect

• Your account: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored encrypted and we can never see them.
• Your cards: whatever you choose to put on a card, such as your name, job title, phone numbers, email addresses, website, address, bio, social links, photo and logo.
• Payments: if you upgrade to Pro, Stripe handles your payment. Your card number goes straight to Stripe. We never see or store it, and only keep your plan and billing status.

We don't collect your location, and we don't use advertising or tracking tools.

Who can see your card

A card that is turned on ("Show my card") can be seen by anyone who has its link or scans its QR code. That's what makes it work as a business card. Turn a card off or delete it at any time to stop sharing it.

Texts and calls through your card

When someone texts or calls a card owner through P2P Connect, we use Twilio to deliver it. We keep the sender's name, phone number and message so the card owner can read and reply in their inbox. Card owners' own phone numbers stay private unless they choose to show them. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages from P2P Connect.

Your contacts and leads (CRM)

Contacts you import and leads from people who reach out through your card are saved in your private account. Only you can see them. We don't contact them, share them or sell them.

AI features

Some features use AI from Anthropic to sort your contacts and messages into customers and leads and to suggest follow-ups. We send only what a feature needs, when you use it, under terms that don't allow Anthropic to train its models on your data. AI suggestions are just suggestions; nothing is sent on your behalf without you.

Connected email accounts

If you choose to connect Gmail or Outlook, P2P Connect gets read-only access to find people you already do business with. We never send, delete or change your email, and you can disconnect at any time, which removes our access. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We don't use email data for advertising and people at P2P Connect don't read it except to fix a problem you ask us to help with or when the law requires.

Camera, photos and contacts in our phone app

• Camera: used only to scan QR codes, and to take a card photo if you choose to. Scans are read on your phone and not stored by us.
• Photos: only the photo or logo you pick is uploaded, to show on your card.
• Contacts: when you tap "Save to contacts", the app opens your phone's own New Contact screen. The app can't read your address book.

How we use your information

Only to run P2P Connect: to sign you in, store and show your cards, deliver messages, organize your contacts, and send account emails such as confirming your address. We never sell your information or share it for advertising.

Services we use

Your account and cards are stored with Supabase, the website is hosted by Vercel, payments are handled by Stripe, texts and calls by Twilio, and AI features by Anthropic. They process data only to provide those services to us.

Deleting your information

You can delete a card at any time from your dashboard. To delete your whole account, email us and we'll remove your account, cards, photos, logos, messages and contacts. Cancel a Pro plan first from Billing so you aren't charged again.

Children

P2P Connect is for business use and isn't meant for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
